quiz

for my final project, i think i did pretty well. my strengths on my essay, i have to stay was my theme on what i wrote about. i liked the idea that we could write about whatever we wanted about. it made it easier for me to think about something to write about faster and i had an idea on what my points were going to be about without thinking about it to much. my weaknesses, i have to say were how to organize all my thoughts. also my examples, when it comes to my examples, that is the hardest part about all my projects. its very difficult for me to write down examples when i never experienced it or just to write examples of my experiences because at that moment i can not think of any. its like i blank out when it comes to essays.

Narritive Homework

During summer something halarious happened to me. It was on july 2010, we went to a cascade to visit because it was a really big one and everyone wanted to see it. When we got there we had to get on a kayak and row there. When we got there, we got permission to get off of the kayak, we stated swimming around, it was so much fun. But when it was time to go to another part of the river, we had to get on the kayak again. One by one everyone was getting on. At the end it was only my borther and I left to get on. My brother goes first, it took him a few minutes, but luckly he got on. when it was my turn, I just could not get on the kayak. I was tring for like 3 minutes and i just could not get on. Everyone was laughing and at the end I was laughing too. Finally my dad and his friend helped me up. It was a emabarrising moment but also it was also the most halarious moment of my life. the kayaking was also alot of work, but at the end, it all paid up. the cascade was so beautiful and it was an amazing adventure.

quiz for november 5, 2011

one event that happened when i was small was a time i went to the fair. i was really small like around 10 years old. i went to the fair and i wanted to get on this dragon like thing, but i sount get on because i was too small. That day I was so mad because it was the only ride I wanted to get on. It was so unfair, everyone was getting on it except me, it was just not fair.

leader

A leader is a person who is able to lead, a person that can communicate, and a person that is smart. A person that is able to lead is my school's president, he is the leader of most of the stuff at my school and he is very good at it. He is also a great communicater, for example during annoncements his speeches are very clear and easy to understand. he is also very smart, you can tell by the way he talks and the way he greets people. Not many poeple do that but it makes him look very professional.

How to feed a family on a budget

To feed a family on a budget you have to make many sacrifices. First of all, you have to cut down on expenses you do not need. For example, toys, and movies would be something to cut down on. Next, find things that are inexpensive. That can save you alot of money. Not going out so much on fast food places will save you money as well. lastly, manage your money, organize your expenses. Organize how you will manage you money month to month. That gives you a good idea of how much you will spend and have a good idea of how much money you will have left.

One Quality my best friend has

One quality my best friend has that I can describe, is that he is a risk taker. First of all, he is always exited to try something new. He can go skydiving and he would make the best out of it. He can also spend hours trying to figure out something new. Secondly, he is not afraid of change. If he does not like something, he will try to change what he can to make himself better. Also he does not care what anyone thinks of him and says. Lastly, he is always motivated. For example, he always has a smile on his face.  But most of all, he never gives up.

Review

On this one fourth way through the course, i feel that its going really well. I like everything we are doing so far, its really easy too. I do not think anything should be improved so far. I like this class so far, and there is really no changes needed. It is very calm and has a really good enviroment. So far it is a really good class, hopefully the class goes smoothly throughout the semester.

Is the United States a health conscious nation ?

           I think the united states is not a health conscious nation. They reason why, is because alot of people just dont care on what they eat. They try to find the fastest and tastiest place to eat. Alot of the places where people go to, is fast food places, because they offer a big, greasy meals, for a cheap price. Also since technology has advanced so much, Kids and adults are just not getting enough exercize, and instead they are playing videogames and watching T.V all day.

studying for a test

             Studying for a test is hard, but it can also be really easy. First of all, organizing all you notes and review guides is really important when studying for a test. Secondly, find a quiet, comfortable place to study. Finally, try to study every day to be well prepared. All these tips well help you be well prepared for an exam and help you become a better student.

journal 8/20/11

today i woke up at 6 o clock today. i was really tired from last night. it took me a while to wake up this morning. all i wanted to do is sleep in and not worry about school today. but it is manatory so i woke up, got ready and came. on the way over here i was thinking about my books and how i had not gotten them, so i came by pretty early to come and get them. when i got to the bookstore it was closed and it did not open untill 9, i was so worried that i had not gotten the books and everyone else did. when i got to class my teacher started talking about not to worry if you had not gotten the books yet. i was so relieved, in fact i was really glad that i did not get them because she had showed us a website to go to, to get them cheaper. so far this class has came out to be really well, i hope it gets better and i can learn alot from it.
